Queens Avenue United Church

Welcome to Queens Avenue United Church

The church is closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  However, you can find information about our normal activities, facilities, staff, and concert series on this website, as well as contact info.  We will also be offering worship resources each week: our supply minister Rev. Dr. Brian Thorpe’s meditations (text and videos), scripture readings (videos), Prayers of the People, and hymns and anthems (text and audio links).  These can be found here

In July we will welcome Rev. Blair Odney as our new minister.  He has written a message to us, which can be found here

Mission Statement: To be faithful to the call of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit by creating a caring community

No matter how great or little you feel your faith is, no matter if it is your first time coming to church, or you have been raised here, no matter what it is that you think keeps you from being welcomed, you are welcome here.  It doesn’t matter what your skin colour, your culture, your race, your economic status, ability or differing ability, your sexual orientation or your gender identity, Queens Avenue United Church welcomes the diversity of all who come to find God and recognizes that it is God who welcomes us all to be part of God’s family.

Please join us for WORSHIP every Sunday morning @ 10:30AM  Cancelled until further notice due to COVID-19.

The New Creed

We are not alone,
we live in God's world.

We believe in God:
who has created
and is creating,
who has come in Jesus,
the Word made flesh,
to reconcile
and make new,
who works in us
and others
by the Spirit.

We trust in God.

We are called to be the Church:
to celebrate God's presence,
to live with respect in Creation,
to love and serve others,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,
our judge and our hope.
In life, in death, in life beyond death,
God is with us.
We are not alone.

Thanks be to God
